Mille Lacs Hospice

Our Hospice program offers home and inpatient care and help for the terminally ill and their families. Under our Hospice program, dying clients and their families receive physical, psychological, social and spiritual support and care.

Hospice care is defined not only by the services and care provided, but also by the setting in which these services are delivered. Hospice care may be provided in your home, nursing home or assisted living facility.

The primary caregiver is usually a family member or friend who is responsible for around-the-clock supervision of the client. This person is with the client most of the time and is trained by the nurse to provide much of the hands-on-care.
