Mille Lacs Health System is proud to announce the arrival of a new Physician’s Assistant to the MLHS family. Christine Krippner, PA-C, will begin her practice with the health system on Monday, December 12. Krippner graduated recently from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. She grew up in St. Joseph, MN and is married to Daniel, who is attending graduate school at St. Cloud State University. Krippner did a rotation in her training at Mille Lacs Health System, in the Emergency Room. “The staff were such great mentors to me, and I saw how the patients were valued there,” said the new PA. She adds that she and her husband always knew they wanted to live in a small community, and closer to her hometown. “My time at MLHS was so positive and educational, that’s what drew me back.”

Krippner enjoys children, because of their innocence and honest humor; but older patients, too, because they have “so much life experience to share, and stories about the world.” She will be seeing patients in both Isle and Onamia.

Krippner loves canoeing, camping, fishing, and most especially, dogs. The new Physician’s Assistant not only is a good fit for our area, but a good fit for MLHS, too.
