The Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation (MLAHF) is committed to addressing the diverse and changing community health needs of the Mille Lacs Area. We do this through volunteerism and charitable giving.
Our funds go toward projects such as:
Hospital, clinic and Emergency Room needs at Mille Lacs Health System
MLAHF Healthcare Career Scholarship Program
MLHS Healing Garden
You can make a difference in the communities we serve by giving to the Foundation or by becoming a volunteer. Your donation assures continued growth and development, providing quality health care services and programs for the area. Plus, all contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by IRS guidelines. We hope you will join US in our fundraising projects; they include a summer golf tournament, a fall event, a spring event and the following giving opportunities:

Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation supports high school students who are planning to go into a Healthcare Profession by offering two scholarships for each of the high schools in the Mille Lacs Lake area: Onamia, Milaca, Isle and Nay-Ah-Shing
The Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation Healthcare Scholarship is a $1000.00 scholarship for students entering General Healthcare Field of study only.
The Clareen Wilson-Nyquist RN Scholarship is a $1,000.00 for students entering the Registered Nursing Field of study only. Nursing students may apply for both scholarships.
