Dr. Skogen grew up in the Mille Lacs area, went off to college and then medical school, and decided to specialize in nephrology, a subspecialty of internal medicine that diagnoses and treats kidney conditions. After working in the Dakotas, Dr. Skogen and his family came back to his roots and is working now for MLHS.

Andre is a patient at MLHS and is the owner of Forage Scape Farms in Onamia. Forage Scape sells organic meat, poultry, and eggs from the “happy hens” that have free range on his property.

Hans is a local realtor, practicing out of Wahkon for Keller Williams Realty. He is a patient at MLHS, a Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation board member, and is on the Major Gifts Committee for the Next Chapter: Building Our Healthy Future building expansion project.
MLHS Volunteer
Jean is a patient at MLHS and is a volunteer “extraordinaire.” She is on the Mille Lacs Area Health Foundation board, is chair of the Hearts of MLHS Annual Giving Committee, an MLHS Auxiliary volunteer, and a volunteer at the Onamia Depot Library.
